“Water is Life” – a small statement, but a huge truth. Events at Standing Rock have brought this to the forefront of many people’s minds, but it is an issue that has been long hidden. From 50 years of contaminated rivers at Grassy Narrows (Ontario, Canada), to poisoned municipal water in Flint (Michigan, US), to the many pipelines crossing water sources for millions of people – this is something we cannot stand idly by and watch as our Mother’s life is drained and poisoned, affecting the lives of generations of people across this Earth. We owe it to Ancestors, Ourselves, our Children, and those yet to come, to make a stand and remember that we are not the masters of this Earth, rather, we are it’s CARETAKERS.
